Hiflo Plumbing is a second generation Business established in 1971 by Ian and Helen Ryder (Senior). In 2005 Peter and Helen Ryder became the new Owners and Directors. Hiflo specialises in Plumbing, Drainage, Gasfitting, Sheetmetal, Solar, Heating, Domestic, Commercial and Industrial. Many large projects such as Twizel transportable homes for the Hydro schemes, Cromwell transportable homes for the Clyde Dam project, and the establishment of major hotels in Omarama back in the 70s and early 80s were huge achievements following the early beginnings.

This led onto prefabricated bathrooms into the thousands major 5 star Hotel chains in most of the major cities in the North and South Islands throughout the late mid 80s until this day. The Oamaru Aquatic Centre was the largest project tackled in the late 90s followed by some very large Government spending with a new Hospital and many School redevelopments.

Retail has always been in high demand with our Showroom displaying most brands at a level that is set very high often praisied by Heating Reps. Underfloor Heating, Radiators, Boilers and many other Heating options have always set Hiflo as a true specialist providing the needs of every application.
